Project Overview & Strategic Importance Commissioned under the government's strategic "Big Push Program," Rolider Ltd. is executing the rehabilitation of Lot 6. This vital 24-kilometer road development modernizes the Atimpoku - Ho - Aflao corridor in the Volta Region, establishing a crucial transportation link to the Togo border. Beyond the main highway, the project includes the rehabilitation of local roads within Ziope town, ensuring the surrounding communities directly benefit from this major infrastructure development through improved accessibility and economic opportunity.

Technical Scope & Engineering Specifications To meet the rigorous standards required by the Ministry of Roads and Highways, the existing 7-meter-wide road is being extensively expanded to a modern 11.3-meter width. Comprehensive water control and drainage are addressed through the execution of over 24,000 m of concrete U-drains alongside the construction of 12 robust pipe culverts.

The pavement structure is engineered for maximum durability and climate resilience, incorporating advanced materials and new technologies for the region:

• Base Layer: 15 cm of high-quality crushed rock base (0-40) to increase the pavement structure's foundational strength.
• Binder Course: 6 cm of asphalt utilizing advanced SBS Polymer Modified Bitumen (PG76-22).
• Wearing Course: 4 cm of final asphalt surface layer, also featuring SBS Polymer Modified Bitumen (PG76-23) for superior performance.

Safety & Delivery Slated for full operational handover in December 2027, the completed 24km corridor will be fully equipped with premium road safety materials, including high-visibility traffic signs and road markings.
